Incorporated in 1970, Asia Fiber
Public Company Limited (AFC) is, today, Thailand’s leading manufacturer
of high quality nylon-6 products. Originally a Thai-Taiwanese joint
venture, AFC started production in 1972 with promotion privileges from
the Board of Investment (BOI).
In 1975, AFC was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and
gradually became a completely Thai operation.
In 1984, AFC introduced the first high-speed water jet loom in Thailand
to produce nylon TAFFETA.
In 1993 , AFC was granted the Asian Management Awards for General
Management. AFC was registered as a public company limited.

In 1995, "AFC was granted the Asian Management Awards for Operations
Management. AFC was among the first few textile manufacturers to
achieve ISO 9002, certified by DNV.
In 1999, AFC achieved Oeko-TEX Standard 100 from TESTEX swiss textile
testing institute for nylon textured dyed yarn which quality was
reached world wide standard.
In 2002, AFC attained the highly proclaimed ISO 9001:2000 for all its
operations, and achieved ISO 14000 for its production of nylon chip and
In 2007, AFC was qualified for "EU FLOWER" label in the field of NYLON
TEXTURED DYED YARN which is suitable for circular knitting, warped
knitting, socks knitting, gloves knitting, elastic braids, etc.
In 2009, AFC had updated the lastest version of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO
14001:2004. AFC also had been registered for low carbon footprint of
dyed yarn product.
In 2015, AFC was qualified for energy management system ISO 50001:2011.
Nowadays, our product lines include nylon-6 chips(resin,
pellet), nylon multi-filament yarn(POY,FDY,FOY), nylon extured
yarn(DTY, ATY) and nylon taffeta fabric. In addition, we have our own
dyeing and finishing facilities as well.
For over three decades, AFC has played an important part
in Thailand's textile industry. With the spirit and ingenuity of its
people, AFC will continue to play a constructive part in the future,
contributing to the growth and prosperity of the industry of Thailand.
